Ford Goes Green in Michigan
Ford Motor Co. recently completed a $550 million renovation at its assembly plant in Wayne, Michigan which was originally used to produce low-on-fuel-economy SUV's for Ford. The plant will now be used to construct future electric, hybrid and other next-generation vehicles. For the time being, the plant will mainly produce the Ford Focus hybrid and electric variants. However, the building will eventually produce a new hybrid and a plug-in hybrid vehicle.
