2011 Edge Launches with New Ad Campaign

One of the new print ads just launched for the 2011 Ford Edge features a full-page photo of ruby red lips and a caption that reads, "The Edge understands 10,000 word commands." It's not until you get to the second page that you actually see a beauty shot of Ford's newly redesigned crossover with a caption that begins, "What other car can say that?" 

Look a little closer at the ad, and you'll see that the cracks in the lips are actually an assortment of the voice commands that the MyFord Touch system understands.

2011 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor

Recently, Ford was dropping hints about their upcoming Police Interceptor version of the 2011  Explorer. Well, now the American auto maker has released official specifications of their criminal pursuit SUV, and it certainly packs a punch.

Ford already has their Fusion and Taurus Police Intercepters coming next year, but when you need strength along with horsepower, and room for the unlawful in the rear, Explorer is a sure fire way to go.

Ford Focus Electric to Launch Next Year

Next year, Ford is getting set to launch the all new Focus sedan, along with an electric version of the popular vehicle. More exciting than just an electric car for Ford Motor Co, the Focus will run a liquid thermal battery system.

Ford Focus Electric is scheduled to be launched next year in the US and 2012 in Europe. The litium-ion battery pack will run on new thermal management technology for the first time, which will aid battery longevity, and provide a longer between-charge range.

2012 Ford Mustang BOSS 302

Last month brought the Woodward Dream Cruise to the United States. The festival featured 40,000 different automobiles, including the future of Mustang lore - The 2012 Mustang BOSS 302 from Ford.
