2022 Ford F-150

With the 2022 F-150, eight trim levels are available: the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, Tremor, and Raptor. You can select a 5.5-, 6.5-, or 8-foot bed, and you'll get a prominent grille with the Ford Blue Oval in the middle, daytime running lights, tinted windows, fog lights, and 17-inch wheels. Manually folding side mirrors, automatic high beams, and a full-size spare tire are standard as well. You can add lighting for the truck bed, power running boards, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and chrome accents. Heated auto-dimming side mirrors with memory settings and turn signals, two front tow hooks, a tailgate step and work surface, skid plates, and 18-, 20-, or 22-inch wheels are also available. Colors options are Agate Black, Atlas Blue, Race Red, Rapid Red, Antimatter Blue, Stone Gray, Iconic Silver, and Space White.

The 3.5-liter PowerBoost V-6 engine gives 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque, and the hybrid version also has a 35-kilowatt electric motor. The optional 5.0-liter V-8 generates 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. You can also select one of three EcoBoost motors. The 3.5-liter V-6 provides 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque, and the 2.7-liter version offers 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The 3.3-liter V-6 produces 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. All of these options have a 10-speed automatic transmission.

This truck has impressive acceleration and power, and you can choose tow/haul, normal, eco, sport, slippery, trail, deep snow/sand, rock crawl, and mud/ruts driving modes. The hybrid model gives you up to 700 miles of driving range, and you can use it to power appliances and tools. The F-150 can tow up to 14,000 pounds and haul up to 3,250 pounds, and you can add hill descent control and premium shocks.

Standard features include dual-zone climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 12-volt power outlet, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. This truck also comes with an outdoor temperature display, an 8-inch touch screen, a 4-inch driver information display, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. You can add a 12-inch touch screen, a heated steering wheel, a universal garage door opener, navigation, and a convenient interior work surface. Folding rear seats with lockable storage underneath them, remote start, and heated, cooled, and massaging seats are available. A folding rear console, wood accents, up to six 120-volt power outlets, and an 18-speaker audio system are also optional.
