The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is available in six trims: base, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Limited. Each trim showcases the retro rugged styling of the original Ford Bronco combined with modern touches like a carbon black grille, active grille shutters, body-colored safari-style roof, a manual rear liftgate, adjustable floodlights, configurable daytime running lights, and black finish side view power mirrors. Seventeen-inch wheels are standard on all models except the Outer Banks, which has 18-inch wheels. Two engines are available for the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport: a 181 horsepower 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged I-3 engine with 190 pound-feet of torque and a 250 horsepower 2-liter EcoBoost turbocharged I-4 with 277 pound-feet of torque.

Every Bronco Sport comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission with Manual Mode Select and standard all-wheel drive. Advanced AWD with a twin-clutch rear drive unit is available on the Badlands and Heritage Limited models. This configuration increases the maximum towing capacity of the Bronco Sport to 2,200 pounds. The standard MacPherson strut-type front suspension with double lateral link rear suspension, electronic traction control, and electric power-assisted steering offers the drier even more control. The Bronco is also no slouch when it comes to fuel economy. It has an estimated EPA rating of 25 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined for the 1.5-liter engine and 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined for the 2-liter engine.

The spacious and cozy interior of the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, seats five with 60/40 split-fold-flat rear seats. The cabin has 42.4 inches of legroom in the front seat and 36.9 inches of legroom in the second row. It also has up to 65.2 cubic feet of cargo space.
