Comfortable, practical, and prepared for adventure, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is ready for whatever you throw its way. Whether you’re tackling rugged trails or busy urban parking lots, this five-passenger SUV can handle it with ease. And that’s not all. The Bronco Sport is fuel-efficient and offers plenty of cargo space. It’s hard to go wrong with this stylish, rugged, capable SUV, which is available at your local Ford dealer.
1. Performance-Focused Powertrain
The Bronco Sport comes standard with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, this compact SUV boasts 181 horsepower. The base engine gets 25 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on highways. A more powerful turbo 2-liter four-cylinder engine is also available.
2. Ample Cargo Capacity
The four-door Bronco Sport offers 32.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 65.2 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down. This vehicle has a safari-style roof, which means extra height in the rear. It’s even possible to transport a standing bicycle in the rear of the SUV. Tie-down hooks and loops in the rear area of the vehicle make it easy to secure bikes and other cargo before heading out on rough terrain.
Adding roof racks, which are available as an accessory, gives the Bronco Sport additional carrying capacity. And if you need even more cargo capacity, towing is an option. The three-cylinder engine has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds, which is enough to pull a single-horse trailer and smaller U-Haul trailers.
3. Off-Road Ready
If you’re serious about off-roading, the Badlands trim level of the Bronco Sport is worth a close look. All-terrain tires and a lifted suspension make the Badlands trim uniquely capable when covering rocky, uneven terrain. Water-fording capability is available as an option with the Badlands trim. The Badlands also comes with an advanced 4×4 drivetrain designed to offer more stability and traction when ascending hills or navigating muddy conditions.
4. Designed for Comfort
The Bronco Sport is designed with your comfort in mind, from the six onboard cupholders to the media bin in the center console. This SUV also comes with dual USB ports in the center console, a 4.2-inch instrument cluster, a six-speaker stereo system, and a telescoping steering column. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Compatibility are standard. So is post-collision braking.
If you’re looking for an SUV that’s great for everyday use as well as adventures off the pavement, the Bronco Sport may be the perfect choice. When you’re ready to schedule a test drive, come see us at Plantation Ford in Plantation, FL.
