Noises From the Brakes

When you hit the brakes, hydraulic pressure from the brake fluid forces the calipers against the rotors and the pads generate friction.

Friction causes heat, and the heat from the already-hot rotors can cause some of the pad’s adhesive to liquefy. The liquid adhesive is smeared across the rotor and promptly dries in the heat. The dried adhesive produces a slightly raised section on the otherwise flat rotor. When the caliper grabs the raised rotor section, you’ll feel vibrations. We can solve this problem by cleaning or resurfacing the affected rotor.

ABS Warning Light

The ABS is a safety system that prevents your wheels from locking if your car accidentally skids. A skid can be dangerous, and if a car’s wheels lock and refuse to respond, you no longer have any control over your car.
